About the Journal

Inquiries in Sociology is an academic journal, sponsored by York University’s Undergraduate Sociology Program. This journal publishes theoretical and empirical research annually, and is committed to providing a platform for undergraduate and graduate students looking to contribute to academic scholarship. Inquiries in Sociology was established by three undergraduate students in York’s Criminology and Sociology programs, and is entirely student-run. The editorial board consists of undergraduate students and PHD candidates from York University who are passionate about fostering academic engagement that transcends the parameters of course curriculum.
